Boat Repair & Maintenance

Boat repairs and maintenance can be quite daunting; spray painting, fiberglass repair, rebuilds and wood work finishing tasks require specific know-how and equipment. Not to mention the additional tasks such as instrumentation install that can often accompany these projects. If you’re not experienced with boat repairs it’s best to leave them to the professionals who have years of experience and the specific tools to get the job done. Our staff are here to ensure that your repair projects are completed quickly, correctly and safely.

Motor Repair

Maintaining and repairing outboard and diesel inboard motors can be challenging tasks. A qualified mechanic with experience in 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards can provide vital services to ensure your motor continues to perform at an optimal level. Regular maintenance checks are recommended to check fuel systems, electronics, lubricants, and shafts & gearboxes for wear; addressing any issue before it becomes more costly or difficult to repair. Having a marine outboard and diesel inboard motor that is well-maintained not only gives you greater peace of mind while out on the water but also improves the performance of your vessel.

Storage

Our outdoor boat storage facilities can accommodate a wide range boats up to 40 feet in length.  We can assist with hauling/towing your boat in and around Grand Cayman as well as facilitate launching on most of the slipways on Island.
Leaving your boat in salty water year round will take a toll. Corrosive damage, rust and general wear & tear will start to affect the bottom, motor and prop shafts.  A period of rest out of the water will slow this progress down and mean your boat needs less upkeep.

The safest place for your boat during a hurricane is ashore. Wave surge and rough seas can cause serious damage to boats that are tied to docks as well as cause unnecessary damage to your dock.  Hurricane season runs between June and November, so secure your spot early.
